How my journey began:

Jennifer

I often tell this story of being in third, maybe fourth grade. The teacher gave us an assignment over the weekend, which all 8/9 year-olds love. Homework over the weekend.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I had just learned a fantastic word that I thought would be most impressive to use in my essay. It would show the teacher just how smart I was, using this newly acquired word and incorporating it so graciously into my vocabulary. I was a listener. I was a learner. I was bound for greatness.

Other kids were going to be professional baseball players, basketball players, nurses, teachers and farmers. My very best friend, Amy, said she was going to be a cardiologist. And she is. When I grew up I was going to be . . . ambitious. And so I am.

When you dream big, you make things happen. When you focus your efforts on making other people be successful, you found your superpower. That is why I turn regular people into Wizards and Goddesses.

I have acquired an ambition to make other people better than they think they can be.
